I am very interested in meditation. In fact my life purpose is dedicated to spiritual awakening for all of my adult life. My job or 'what I do' is completely oriented around it. Being non-religious and non-dogmatic, I enjoy learning new scientific or proven methods for purifying the ego and eliminating all the barriers in the way of real joy, unconditional peace/love and the total fulfilment of life.
In this light, hemispheric synchronisation technology has been a way for me to access deep concentrated states as a preparation tool for my other daily meditation practices. Admittedly, the methods of meditation I use are different from this. However, it makes such a difference to use this technology to get my body chemistry and brain frequency right before going into my other practices that are more mind-oriented and contemplative.
I've tried all sorts of hemispheric synchronisation (binaural beats) audio including Holosync, Hemisync, Quantum Mind Power, Brain Sync and Sound Mind. What I have specifically tried is the focus or concentration audios that many of these brands offer. Not only is 'focus binaural beats' what I am primarily interested in, but in my estimation, testing concentration is more of a definitive way of comparing brands for their efficacy. In other words, when I listen to the 'focus binaural beat', I am either able to concentrate on a particular thing better or I am not. I am either getting less distracted by other thoughts about other things or I am not. It's that simple. Whereas trying to compare, say 'creativity binaural beats' or 'meditation binaural beats' from different brands, can be a lot more difficult.
Anyway, getting to the point.
I consistently experience excellent levels of concentration when using the BrainZapr 'intense focus 30min' audio.
I get a lot less distracting thoughts. I also expereince the peace and stillness that comes when focusing on one thing and everything else seems to vanish.
There is no doubt that the BrainZapr audios are of a very high quality and they definitely work. In fact, doing the 30 min audio will keep me concentrated and focused for hours later. Once I noticed the effects for a half a day! And that is just 30 mins of listening.
Now here is the interesting thing. A lot of the other brands that I've mentioned above including Holosync can be hundreds and in some cases, thousands of dollars to buy! Not only this, with some brands, you need to dedicate years of listening to experience the full benefits. They take you through gradual levels. All very well and good but for a guy like me who lives in the present moment, I want all the benefits now. And in 30 mins of listening to BrainZapr, that's exactly what I get.
The last point I want to make is about my findings after comparing various brands of 'focus binaural beats'.
I found BrainZapr to be just as effective if not more effective than some of the more expensive and well-known brands. By more expensive, I mean at least 10 times more expensive.
Not only this, when doing my comparisons, BrainZapr made some of the others I listened to seem like gimmicks.
So Ed, keep up the good work. I'd like to know about your background and the kind of research that you do to make these Zaprs as you call them. It would be great to know what you are doing that the other brands are not doing. It would confirm my experience about the power of what you are offering to people.

thanks for the questions and for downloading these two Binaural Beats. To answer your questions:
1. Stick your headphones on, set the volume level so that it is non intrusive. Quiet is usually better.
2. Both the Intense Learning and Intense Focus Binaural Beats are designed to be used whilst you are studying, although they have radically different frequency patterns. I personally wouldn't have them on continuously for 8 hours. I suggest the following: Use them whilst studying to get your brain into a focussed/learning state, and then have anywhere between 15 minutes and a couple of hours with them not playing. When you find yourself getting distracted or loosing focus then stick them on again.
3. No, use them whilst you are studying. Number of times per day has a lot to do with personal preference, but I shouldn't think that more than 4-5 times per day would be necessary.
4. I suggest the focus at the start of your studies, wait a while, and then move onto the Intense Learning. It has to correlate with the type of studying you are doing. General reading and note taking requires focus, but then learning your notes obviously requires Intense Learning.
Remember to give yourself a few breaks to avoid burn out
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions and please let me know how the studying goes using the Binaural Beats.

I ordered and downloaded Intense Focus and Intense Learning yesterday, but I didn't get any info on how to use them.
I'm studying a lot, law, and I got them to help me with. Here are my questions:
1. How do I suppose to use them?
2. Do I need to listen to them for the time I'm studying (around 7-8 hours daily, except Saturdays and Sundays)?
3. Do I need to listen to them before starting my daily studies sections? If so, how many times per day?
4.Which order should I follow, considering both, Intense Focus and Intense Learning? If there isn't an order, how should I use them?
I appreciate your help.
Thank you very much.
